Welcome parents and students! The semester is flying by and soon the grade 10s will be writing their final ELA exam. The grade 9s will continue with me all year and will write their final exam in June. It has been a pleasure to have all of your children in my class. Not a day goes by that they don't make me laugh...as I'm sure they do for you at home, too!
A reminder to all classes to keep up with homework. It is essential to your learning, and you will appreciate it come exam time. The grade 10s are studying Romeo and Juliet and must have April Raintree read for after the winter break. The grade 9s are in the midst of writing short stories and they are coming up with some wonderfully creative ideas. Ask your grade 9 student if you can read their work...you're sure to be entertained!
All students should keep their eyes and ears open in class for important announcements regarding exam times and rules, work submission due dates and general classroom information.
I hope that everyone has a very happy and safe holiday season! Cheers!
